  • Real Work Projects
A Real Work Project is a highly facilitated 1-3 day group session designed to utilise the knowledge and creativity of 15-30 participants from across an organisation to...
    • answer a specific question
    • solve a particular problem
    • develop a strategy
    • evaluate a set of options
    • create a plan of action for a single strategic issue
Bridge has designed and delivered over 30 successful RWPs for some of the world's largest companies.
What Makes a Real Work Project Unique?
    • It leverages the collective knowledge and experience of the group to address a single critical issue faced by an individual leader or team (the sponsor, or "issue owner").
    • The entire programme is co-developed and co-delivered with the client sponsor
    • Customised physical environment and proven processes reinforce total immersion of participants in the sponsor's issue.
    • Actionable Output: The development of a strategic action plan that benefits from a variety of functional perspectives and backgrounds.
    • The RWP also benefits clients by serving as a team-building/networking activity in a "real work" setting.
RWPs are frequently utilised within a broader programme to enable participants to apply new learning directly to a real work situation, but can also be delivered on a stand-alone basis.
An RWP is comprised of three distinct phases:
    • Explore - Basically a crash course on the issue; the group is exposed to research, statistics, and a series of brief presentations on the sponsor's issue or dilemma
    • Engage - Next the group works together to synthesise this new information and collaboratively develop a set of ideas drawn from their collective experience and understanding.
    • Execute - The final output of an RWP typically consists of a set of recommended solutions, strategies and concrete next steps.
    What clients have said:
    • "Besides achieving strategic alignment of staff, the Real Work Projects have had measurable impact on business results and direction, far in excess of the costs of the programme."
Mike Naylor, VP, Exploration Technical, Shell
    • "Despite the complexity of the 3 projects, each with its many stakeholders, we now have confidence in our analysis and have developed a clear way forward..."
Gilles Bertherin, Shell Oil Exploration, GameChanger
